Guild Wars 2 Do you Want a Legendary?

The most widely sought after gear in Guild Wars 2 is easily the legendary weapons. These Legendary Weapons are the definition of Epic Gear. Buts its not in the stats of the weapon but rather the visual appearance of the weapons. There is Great swords that leave a trail of fire behind you has you run.

So your saying how do I get a Legendary Weapon. Well its is quite an adventure to say the least. The most important part being the gold your going to need ti buy the parts of the weapons. See each legendary weapon has a precursor to its self. Like the Legendary Great sword- Dusk first you must acquire Twilight. Which is a Exotic Great sword. Later on you will have to chuck that sword in the Mystic Forge (With other components).

#1Guild Wars 2 Gold Guide on The Net

Guess what the going rate for Twilight is on the Trading Post. About 300g. So to say the least your going to need a lot of gold to get there. I think they estimate it at 1000g when your all said and done. That's why I'm here I'm going to try to break down the best kept Guild Wars 2 Gold Secrets. A lot of people don't want these tips to get out cause it will change the gold economy. In the worse for them the better for us. Nobody wants to have to spend that much money for a Legendary Great Sword.
Guild Wars 2 Gambling with the Mystic Forge

There is many different ways to gamble with gold in Guild Wars 2. I don't recommend them but I'm not going to say don't do it you might get lucky. I'm just going to discuss the ways to can gamble.

-First you can throw four rare Great sword in the Mystic Forge and you have a chance to get back one Exotic Great sword. If you throw four of the same items in the Mystic Forge you will get back one of the same type of item.

-You can do what i previously said with just about all items. So you could throw four rare Helmets for a chance at an Exotic Helmet.

-Sometimes i try to upgrade Major Rune for armor. If you put four Major Runes in the Mystic Forge you have a chance to get back a Superior Rune. Which if you invest 10 silver for 4 Major Runes you have a chance to get back a Superior Rune and some of them a worth over 10 gold a piece.

Guild Wars 2 Gambling with the Trading Post

There are many different ways to gamble with the Trading Post in Guild Wars 2. The only problem is its about the same has gambling with the Mystic Forge i cant guarantee your going to make gold from it.

- First your can just buy up different bags off the Trading Post. There is many different ones to chose from like Small Mining Bag or Large Mining Bags. What you are hoping for is the item you get out of the bag is worth more then the item in the bag. So say you buy a small mining bag for 20 copper. Then you open it and you get 3 copper ore from that one bag. now the copper ore is selling for 20c a piece. You just made 40c profit.

- You can buy up items off the Trading Post when the price drops hoping that the price will rise in the future. When you can sell them back for a profit. Many people made a killing of this when the price of unidentified dyes drop so low. They bought these items up then sold them a few days later for almost double profit.

Farming Karkas at the Lost Shore

So since the new island came out I’ve been trying to figure out how to make gold with it. And surprisingly there is not a whole lot to do down here. The events are fair and few between so there really no event farming. If you’re wondering what event farming is let me explain.

See in the zone The Cursed Shores you could run back in forth between 2-3 events. So you could constantly be getting gold and karma from the events. When I’m down farming in the cursed shore I can average from 2-6g an hour just farming those 3 events. Usually I get 3-4 rare drops in that hour so they sell for 40s apiece. Otherwise I salvage them for their ectoplasm's.

Back to the Lost Shores. If you stay by the starter zones in this zone. You can easily farm the Karkas for their shells and bloods. The Karkas will drop Powerful Bloods on occasions. When they drop that’s pretty much 25s straight in the bank. I will run in a circle for 30 minutes or so and will usually have about 10 potent bloods and 2 powerful bloods. That alone is worth hanging around down here. I got a lot of these tips from this guide. You should check it out.

I also want to talk about the Karkas shells. These shells are used in recipes for the mystic forge so there worth quite a bit on the Trading Post. This Karkas drop 1 every 3-4 kills so i end up with quite alot. I will try to farm nothing but Karkas while I'm here, theirs other reef riders and such to stay away from. The reason i stay away from them is they don't drop the shells. They do drop the bloods but i don't think it worth the effort to kill them. The bloods drop rarely so when bloods don't drop your not really getting anything for value from the kill.
